
FZN Senior Kyle Coleman recently signed a "Letter of Intent" to play soccer for the University of Missouri - St. Louis, whose main campus is located in the Normandy area. Coleman was a stand-out player for the Panthers, starting in each of the past three seasons. A versatile player, Coleman was used at mid-field and defense for the Panthers. He was an "All-Conference" performer following his junior season, a season that saw the Panthers win a school-record 19 games. In addition to playing for FZN, Coleman is also a member of the Lou Fusz soccer club.
UMSL has a unique history with the Fort Zumwalt North soccer program. UMSL's current stand-out goalie Jack Filla, graduated from FZN in 2013. FZN's current head coach, Chris Stockmann, as well as assistant coaches, Krissy Muesenfechter and Brian Kelleher also played collegiately for the Tritons.
UMSL is a NCAA Division 2-member school and competes in the Great Lakes Valley conference.
