Cornerstone UMC and the Sports Crusaders have teamed up to host a week long soccer camp for children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade during the week of June 22 through June 26 at Cornerstone UMC. The Sports Crusaders are a not for profit organization that travels the country giving quality sports camps to communities while also sharing the Word and love of Christ to the athletes.
The campers will be coached by college-aged male and female soccer coaches who give their summer to teach young people soccer skills and instill in them the real values of life. They not only have athletic teaching skills, but are also fully committed to living the example of Christian faith and sharing that faith with their athletes.
The camp will run Monday through Friday and will be spilt into two age groups. Those who have completed kindergarten through second grade will attend from 9:00 until 11:30 and those who have completed third grade through fifth grade will attend from 1:00 until 3:30. The cost of the camp is $50 per athlete and that includes their week of training, t-shirt, Bible, devotional booklet and a certificate.
