Cornerstone UMC Invites Children to Everest VBS

A summer kids’ event called Everest VBS will be hosted at Cornerstone UMC from July 12 – July 16. At Everest, kids discover what it means to hold on to God’s mighty power in everyday life. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Summit Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 8:45 pm.

Kids at Everest VBS will join in a mission project to provide school supplies to children right here in their own community.

Everest is for kids from potty trained 3’s to just completed 5th grade, and will run from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm each day. You can register online from our website at www.umcornerstone.org/children or call 636-379-5334 for more information.
