FZN Senior Austin Cox recently committed to play football for Simpson College located in Indianola, Iowa. Cox will join his former teammate, Sam Bartlett (Class of 2015), who is a current member of the Simpson football team. Cox was a 2nd team "All-Conference" selection at running back this past fall. He was a key member of a Panther squad that repeated as both conference and district champions. During the 2015 campaign, Cox rushed for 664 yards (6.6 per carry) while scoring 5 touchdowns for the Panthers.
Simpson College is a member of the IIAC conference and is affiliated with the NCAA Division 3.
