Crusaders Roll Into Sectionals

St. Dominic will host a Class 2 Sectional contest against Moberly on Tuesday night.

The boys soccer team is on a roll.    

The Crusaders will take a four-match winning streak into a Class 2 Sectional contest against Moberly (19-7) on Tuesday night at St. Dominic High.

The winner of the 6 p.m. affair advances to face either Priory or St. Francis Borgia in a quarterfinal-round contest on Saturday.

Moberly beat Hannibal 1-0 to win the District 8 crown on Friday.    

St. Dominic has outscored its opponents 13-2 during the winning streak. The Crusaders beat Duchesne 1-0 in overtime to capture the District 7 championship on Thursday night. Sophomore Conor Baker scored the game-winning goal in sudden death.

Stephen Koeller leads the team with eight goals. Baker has five.
