Curtains Up at Union Station: FZN Thespians Shine at State Conference

Troupe #5140 Secures "Honor Troupe" Status and Top Ratings in St. Louis

From January 7–10, the Fort Zumwalt North International Thespian Troupe #5140 braved the rain to attend the Missouri State Conference at Union Station in St. Louis. Throughout the event, students immersed themselves in workshops led by national professionals, attended high-caliber high school productions, and showcased their own talents in competitive state events.

Troupe Honors & Service

North’s commitment to the arts and the community earned them several prestigious recognitions:

  • Honor Troupe Distinction: For the second consecutive year, Troupe #5140 was named an Honor Troupe for outstanding local and state participation in theatrical and community service events.
  • Charitable Giving: The troupe donated script bundles for the Student Officer silent auction and provided essential supplies for the "Puppetpalooza" workshop.

Individual Leadership & All-State Selections

  • Riley Snow: Served as a Student State Officer, helping plan the conference and leading multiple workshops.
  • Julia Pirondi: Elected as a Student State Officer for the upcoming year; she will assist in planning the 2027 conference.
  • Katie Heisler: Cast in the Missouri 2027 All-State Show, Blue Stockings, to be performed for over 2,000 delegates.
  • Aries Clark: Selected for the Deck Crew of the Missouri 2027 All-State Show, Blue Stockings.
