FZN Senior Garrett Darrah recently signed a "Letter of Intent" to play baseball for Northwest Missouri State. Northwest Missouri, located in Maryville, Missouri, is a NCAA Division 2 school and is a member of the highly competitive MIAAA conference. Last season the Bearcats completed the season with a 30 - 20 overall record. Darrah has pitched and played first base for FZN. He is also a member of the highly regarded St. Louis Prospects baseball program. Injured for most of his junior season, Darrah hit .338 while making 8 appearances on the mound (1 - 0 - 1.88 ERA) for the Panthers during his sophomore season. That season, the Panthers captured both the GAC Central and District baseball titles. During his most recent fall season with the Prospects, Darrah hit a whopping .467.
