Dwyer to lead the Panthers on the pitch!

FZN alum Matt Dwyer named the head coach for the boys soccer program.

Fort Zumwalt North is pleased to announce the latest addition to their coaching staff. Matt Dwyer, will assume the role of Head Boys Soccer Coach this summer. Dwyer is a 2007 North High graduate, who competed in soccer for coaches Tim Milones and Seth Wilber while a student-athlete at North High. Dwyer spent 8 years as the Boys Head Coach for St. Charles West where he accumulated a 102-82-1 record. He led the boys to one district championship, a 2018 Class 2 State Runner Up finish and was named the United Soccer Coaches Association Small School Public School Coach of the Year. He is currently the Girls Head Coach at St. Charles West where he has led the ladies to 2 district championships and a Class 2 Quarterfinal appearance. He was the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association Class 2 Public School Coach of the year in 2017.

Dwyer takes over for Chad Baldwin, who stepped down at the conclusion of the season last fall. The Panthers tied a school record for wins (18) last season. The team advanced to the district final before falling to eventual final four participant St. Dominic 1 – 0. The Panthers return first team All-Conference selection Michael Sommerville, as well as two second team All-Conference players: Ayden Figg and Colby Thomas.
