Fred Miller, author of “No Sweat Public Speaking!” will present “The Fear of Public Speaking: Why? And Nuggets to Lessen It With – No Sweat!” 7:30-9 a.m., Friday, June 1, as part of the Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series, a business education program presented by Friends & Alumni of St. Charles Community College, Charter Business and the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held in the Private Dining Room of the Student Center on the SCC campus.
In this seminar, Miller will share how to develop, practice and deliver a “knock your socks off” presentation. Participants will learn how to speak in front of small or large groups and how to reach their potential by overcoming their fear of public speaking.
The Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series provides business education opportunities to business owners, their management teams and non-profit executives. The presentations are given by well-known experts in their respective fields and are free of charge.
