Final O’Fallon Jammin’ Concerts bring country, Motown and rock ‘n roll to Civic Park

With summer’s end just around the corner, don’t miss the final O’Fallon Jammin’ Concerts in Civic Park, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. Performances will be held from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 13 and 20. Admission and parking are free.

  • Hillbilly Authority – Hillbilly Authority is sure to get your foot stompin’ on August 6 with a high energy show and a one-of-a-kind blend of deep vocal harmonies, fiddle, guitar, bass and drums. The band’s playlist of traditional country music, new country, southern rock and original songs includes “Heaven Sent,” airing on local radio stations. www.hillbillyauthority.net

 

  • Power Play – On August 13, take a musical ride down Memory Lane and dance to disco, Motown and R & B classics by Power Play. http://www.power2playstl.com/

  • Contagious – Get ready to party! Featuring well-blended vocal harmonies, soaring solos and high-energy rock ‘n roll, Contagious brings the excitement of a nightclub to O’Fallon Jammin’ on August 20th.

 

The O’Fallon Jammin’ Concert series is provided, free, by the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses. Lawn seating is available around the Civic Park bandstand and festival-style food and beverages will be sold by vendors. Coolers and backpacks are allowed but they are subject to search by O’Fallon police officers, rangers and parks and recreation staff. No glass containers are allowed in the park. Directions to Civic Park - On I-70, take Exit 217 at highways K and M (Main Street). Drive north approximately one-half mile on Main Street. After crossing the railroad tracks, make an immediate left turn (west) onto Civic Park Drive. The park is on the right about three blocks down.
