The faculty and students of Fort Zumwalt North High school invite all military veterans to join us in our annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 10th. FZN will host a U.S.O. style show at 9:00 am in the school's gymnasium to be followed by a brunch served at 9:45 am in the school's library.
Veterans Day, originally called Armistice Day to commemorate the end of the first world war, became a national holiday in 1919. It was renamed in 1954 to honor all veterans who have served in the US armed forces and is annually celebrated on the 11th of November.
