Free “Shades of Ireland” travel presentation at the RSC

If you’ve always wanted to see the Emerald Isle, take advantage of the free travel presentations coming up on Tuesday, August 6, at the Renaud Spirit Center (RSC), and find out what’s in store for the trip of your dreams. The presentation will be offered at 3-4 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. The RSC is located at 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O’Fallon, Missouri 63368.

This gorgeous, 10-day trip is scheduled for next spring, April 22 – May 1, 2014, when travelers can see Ireland at its most beguiling. Join in the festivities at a traditional Irish Night, and travel the Ring of Kerry, one of the world’s most beautiful coastal routes. Along the way, we’ll behold the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, visit a working Irish farm to meet the family and learn about their daily life over homemade scones and tea, and spend the night on the grounds of an Irish castle to experience old Ireland at its finest. Detailed itineraries will be distributed at the August 6 presentation, and itineraries are currently available at the RSC front desk.

The cost of the trip includes roundtrip airfare, lodging ($2,969 – $3,399 2013 for single, double or triple accommodations if booked by October 21), 13 meals (eight breakfasts, five dinners), and taxes. To register for the trip, sign up in person at the Renaud Spirit Center, or at the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Administration Office, 400 Civic Park Drive (63366). For more information, contact Recreation Specialist Stacey Ostmann at sostmann@ofallon.mo.us or call 636-474-8105.
