The Varsity Football team defeated Troy last Friday by a score of 41 - 20! The team is now 3 - 0 on the season. The offense has been led by the passing of Brenden Pierce, and the rushing of Pierce, Tre' Johnson, Camren Fullerton, and Deon Lewis. The Panther trio of Tre' Johnson, Justin Fitzpatrick, and Sam Bartlett have led the receiving corp. The offensive is averaging 33 points and 340 yards per game.
Defensively, the Panthers have been led by the tackling of Jeremy Davidson, Luke Sammelmann, Justin Fitzpatrick, and Chris Milich. The have forced 1 fumble, 3 interceptions, and are currently leading the GAC Central by allowing an average of 12.7 points per game.
This Saturday the Panthers return to action as they host rival Fort Zumwalt South on "Homecoming". Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
