FZN football completes unbeaten regular season!
The Panthers move to 9 - 0 on the season.

The Panther football team turned in another impressive performance last Friday as they defeated Timberland 42 - 7 in their final regular season contest. The win improved the Panthers to 9 - 0 on the season. This marks the first time in school history that a Panther football team has gone undefeated in the regular season.
The Panther defense dominated the Wolves, limiting them to just one score and only 150 yards of offense. The defense force a total of 5 turnovers - interceptions by Dacey Brister, Tay Robinson, and Jake Cecil and fumble recoveries by D. Brister and Dre’ Hathaway. Leading tacklers were Blake “The Bus” Wilson, Marion Lowery, and Cade Brister.
The offense more than doubled the yardage of Timberland and at one point in the game scored on 6 straight possessions. The leading rusher for the Panthers was Cade Brister with 102 yards and 3 touchdowns, followed by Deiondre Stockton and Tay Robinson who also scored touchdowns for the Panthers. Dacey Brister pitched in with an 18 yard touchdown reception from his brother Cade.

By virtue of earning the number one see in the district, the Panthers will have a bye this Friday. The Panthers will host either Parkway Central or Fort Zumwalt East in the District Semi-Final scheduled for October 30th. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 pm.
