FZN Girls Basketball is off to a strong start!

The Lady Panthers finished 3rd at the FZN Invitational.

The FZN girls basketball team is off to a 6 - 1 start this season, the record includes a notable victory over district rival Fort Zumwalt West. The team recently finished play in the Fort Zumwalt North Invitational where the Panthers finished in 3rd place. They defeated conference rival Fort Zumwalt East in the third place game. The Panthers only loss so far this season was a 55 - 47 defeat to the hands of Pattonville in the semi-final game of the FZN tournament. The Panthers have been led by 4-year starter Dajah Robinson. Robinson, an "All-Conference" selection a season ago, is averaging 11.7 points per game to go along with her 7.3 rebounds a game. Junior Jordyn Grimes (9.6 points per game) and junior transfer Jaden Stahl (9.1 points per game) have added to the Panther attack. Coach Jeremy Rapp cited "Depth" as the key to the Panthers success early in the season. Rapp went on to say, "The team has been fueled by contributions from all 11 players." The Panther rosters includes: Katie Grimes (12), Cladia Hoff (11), Makayla Meiser (12), Bella Rezex (11), Grace Bauer (11), Jessica Clausner (11), Alyssa Buckley (12), and Jerrica Moody (10).

The Panthers will host conference foe Washington on Tuesday, December 18th at 5:00 pm before traveling to the MICDS Holiday Tournament this weekend with a first round game scheduled against Lafayette at 3:00 pm on December 22nd.
