FZN Girls Golf scores a "Winning" season!

The Lady Panther golf team finishes the regular season with a 7 - 4 - 1 mark.

The FZN girls golf team recently completed their regular season schedule. The Panthers finished the year with a 7 - 4 - 1 overall record. This marks just the second "winning" season for the program that began in the fall of 2009. In addition to finishing the year with an above .500 mark, the Panthers defeated rival Fort Zumwalt South for the first time in school history and set a new team mark for scoring with a 177 (combined total of the top 5 individuals) in a match against Washington. The quartet of Jessica Koscelny, Emily Brown, Kiersten Oderman, and Charlotte Hoffman proved to be the top squad members in 2017. Koscelny earned "All-Conference" status by finishing 6th in the GAC North/Central meet.

The Panthers will begin their quest to qualify for the State Championships next week at the District Tournament held next Monday at the Links of Dardenne Golf Course in O'Fallon.
