FZN Girls Tennis enjoys Historic Season!

Girls tennis was started at Fort Zumwalt North in the fall of 2009. During the team’s first several years of competition, the team struggled with a lack of interest and competitiveness. The began to change last season, after the team secured their first ever conference victory, along with several others achieved in the fall of 2013. The team began the 2014 season with high hopes as the majority of team members returned from the 2013 campaign. Under the direction of Coach Charles Glotta, the team recently upped their 2014 match record to an impressive 8 - 3, including six conference victories. The eight wins are enough to guarantee a “winning” season for the first time in the program’s brief history. Next week, the Panthers hop to continue their success on the court as they begin District play. Congratulations to the Lady Panthers on their historic season!
