FZN to host two Pre-Season Scrimmages

This Friday, August 14th, Fort Zumwalt North will host it’s annual pre-season football scrimmage. FZN, Warrenton, Marquette, and O’Fallon: Christian will all take part in the event. Each varsity squad will play a total of 24 plays (12 offensive, 12 defensive) against one another. Action begins at 7:00 pm. Admission is $2.00 for all spectators.

8:10 pm Warrenton vs Marquette - FZN vs. CHS

Last season the Panthers finished the season with on overall record of 10 - 2, while capturing both the conference and district titles. The Panthers 2014 season ended with a 20 - 13 loss in the state-quarterfinals to eventual state champion, Columbia: Battle.

On Saturday morning, August 15th, the Panther soccer team plays host to Fort Zumwalt East, Hazelwood Central, and Wentzville: Liberty in their own pre-season scrimmage.

Each squad will hit the pitch for a 25 minute scrimmage against one another, getting a total of 75 minutes of scrimmage time.

The event is free to the public.

Last season the Panther soccer squad finished the season with a school-record tying 16 wins. The Panthers currently have a string of 5 consecutive “Winning” seasons.
