
The Varsity Softball team completed the last week of the regular season with a perfect 3 - 0 mark! The team shutout St. Charles West 10 - 0 behind the strong pitching of Hanna Murphy, and the hitting of Abby Tillotson, who sparked the Panther offensive with a three run home run. The Panthers also defeated highly regarded St. Dominic by a score of 8 - 0. Abby Hlavaty earned the shut-out victory, while Abby Tilotson, Katliin Garza, Lauren Kind, Taylor Dames and Shelby Clark provided the offensive punch for the Panthers. Finally the Panthers ended the week of play with a hard fought 6 - 2 victory over Ritenour. Shelby Clark earned the pitching victory to improve to an impressive 11 - 1 on the season. The Panthers ended the regular season with a 19 - 4 record.
The Panthers will begin district play at home on Wednesday (10/9) vs. Hannibal - 4:00 pm. The semi-final (10/10 - 1:30 pm) and championship (10/11 - 4:00 pm) games will both be played at Fort Zumwalt West. There is a $4.00 admission price for all district games.
