The FZN Softball team captured their second straight GAC Central title by defeating Washington (7 - 0) Monday afternoon. The victory over Washington improved the team's overall record to 12 - 3 (7 - 0). In addition to their conference championship the team also won first place in the Westminster Invitational last weekend. Shelby Clark and Abby Hlavaty have provided strong pitching for the Panther all year. At the plate the team has been led by Abby Tillostson, Hannah Murphy, Sarah Langdon, Alyssa Felderwert, Nicole Pitts, and Katilin Garza.
The Panthers host Timberland on 9/25, before traveling to Fort Zumwalt South on 9/26. Both games begin at 4:15 pm. Friday and Saturday the Panthers host the eight team FZN Invitational held on the campus of North High.
