FZN track athletes advance to State!

4 X 400 team sets new school mark.

The FZN boys track team recently competed in the Sectional Track meet held in Columbia, Missouri. FZN advanced their 4 X 400 meter relay team, which consisted of Antwon Friend, Brayden Miller, Chase Ostmann and Noah Page to the the state meet to be held this weekend in Jefferson City. This past season the 4 X400 racked up numerous awards as the squad medaled at the following meets: 2nd at the Spartan Relays, 3rd Northwest Relays, 2nd at the FZN Invitational, 1st at Hannibal, 1st in the GAC Central, 2nd at Districts and 3rd at Sectional. Additionally the 4 x 400 team set a new school record with a 3:23.3 team at sectionals. Also advancing to state as an individuals was Brayden Miller in the 400 meter dash and Jeffery Files in the para events. Miller has had an outstanding season taking top honors at the conference meet and the FZN Invitational. Files is the two-time defending state champion in the para events. He has a total of 8 gold medals and is undefeated in high school track.
