FZN's Powells scores his 1000th point!

FZN Senior Marco Powells recently scored his 1000th career point for the varsity boys basketball team. Powells went over the 1000th point mark during the Panthers game against Hannibal last Saturday. Powells is one of just a handful of FZN players to ever achieve such an accomplishment, the last being 2015 graduate Zach Glotta. Powells has been a three year starter for the Panthers. Last season he was named as a 1st team member of the GAC Central "All-Conference" squad. This season Powells is currently averaging 16.2 points per game.

FZN will recognize Powells' accomplishment in a brief ceremony prior to the start of the team's next home game scheduled for 2/6 vs. Holt.
