Mozingo Center for Creative Arts Dance will offer dance classes developed to fit the specific needs of people interested in musical theater, without the demands of preparing for competitions and recitals. Classes will meet in The Stage at Mozingo Music in O’Fallon, MO.
Session 1: This five week intensive meets on Thursdays from February 11 to March 10, 2016. (Cost: $65.00/class)
Session 2: This five week intensive meets on Thursdays from May 12 to June 9, 2016. (Cost: $65.00/class)

Each session four classes will be offered:
5:00 to 5:50 PM - Kindergarten through 4th grade: Fundamentals Of Dance for Musical Theater. Theater veteran Molly Bradshaw will instruct students in fundamental stage movement and basic ballet and jazz steps. Building confidence, developing grace and ease of movement on stage is the goal.

6:00 to 6:50 PM - Fundamentals of Tap for grades 5 through adult. Professional dance instructor, Jenevieve Lafferty, will lead the class in learning the percussive art of tap, particularly as it applies to musical theater.
7:00 to 7:50 PM - Fundamentals of Broadway Jazz for grades 5 through adult. Join Jenevieve Lafferty in this class specifically designed to teach musical theater actors to be a triple threat.
8:00 to 8:50 PM - Fundamentals of Ballet for musical theater. Jenevieve Lafferty teaches ballet basics to those who have not had a strong background in the basis for all types of dance. If you have never had ballet training, this class is for you!
