Jackson heading to Seminole Country!
Tianna Jackson is set to play volleyball for Florida State.

FZN Senior Tianna Jackson recently signed a "Letter of Intent" to play volleyball at Florida State University located in Tallahassee, Florida. Jackson transferred to Fort Zumwalt North during the 2015 - 2016 school year and joined the volleyball team this past summer. A relative newcomer to the sport, having just started her freshmen year of high school, Jackson garnered enough attention playing for Team Momentum volleyball club that she was offered a scholarship from Florida State. She also participated in USA Volleyball's A2 National Invitational program. While at FZN, Jackson played a pivotal role in what proved to be a historic season for the Panthers. The Panthers finished the 2016 campaign with a school-record 24 and a share of the GAC Central title. Jackson was named a member of both the "All-Conference" and "All-District" teams. An honor student, Jackson also received "All-Conference" academic honors.
Florida State is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference and affiliated as a member of the NCAA Division 1. Florida State finished the 2016 regular season with a 24 - 5 record. The Seminoles were awarded an "at-large" bid to the 64 team NCAA tournament.
