FZN Senior Kailee McGee recently signed a “Letter of Intent” to play beach volleyball for Lindenwood University, located in St. Charles, Missouri. McGee, who will be new to the sport of beach volleyball, was a dynamic three-year member of the Panther volleyball team. An explosive player, McGee recorded 129 kills during her senior campaign, while leading the team with 73 blocks. For her efforts, she was selected to the GAC Central “All-Conference” 2nd team. A scholar in the classroom, who sports an impressive 3.93 GPA, McGee was a three-time “All-Academic” performer. In addition to her playing days at North High, McGee was a member of the Cross Fire volleyball club.

Lindenwood is in the process of transitioning to NCAA Division 1 status. They will participate in athletics as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. The 2022 – 2023 school year will be the inaugural season for the Lions beach volleyball team. McGee is undecided on a major, but is leaning toward studying business.
