Lady Panther Harriers race to victory at the FZN Invitational!

Hunter Boker wins the individual boys title.

The FZN Cross Country team hosted their 2nd annual invitational meet last Friday on campus of FZN. The FZN girls team dominated the competition the by placing five runners in the top 11 finishers! All seven of the varsity team members placed in the top 20 to earn medals at the event. FZN medalists: Jocelyn Quiles (2nd), Morgan Avery (3rd), Hannah McNiff (7th), Tori Nesslage (9th), Mia Bellanca (11th), Alexis Head (17th), and Sydney Green (18th).

On the boys side, FZN standout Hunter Boker took top honors as he captured the overall title at the boys race. The individual victory was a first for a Panther runner this season. In addition to Boker, two other Panther runners, Jerald Caldwell (3rd) and Sean Deeken (8th), earned medals for the Panthers. In the team race, the Panthers finished 3rd in the eight team event.

The Panthers also had a large number of medalist in the JV race which included: Michaela Russ (2nd), Sydnie Hobday (4th), Ashley Head (6th), Sam Kaischultz (12th), Amanda Bello (13th), Amber Parkinson (15th), Morgan Podorski (17th), Ryan Pendergast (4th), and Seth Gleason (6th)

The JV girls team also won the overall title at the invitational.

The Harriers will compete at the Forest Park Festival this Saturday (9/10) at Forest Park in St. Louis.
