Monical's Pizza coming to O'Fallon, Missouri

The first Monical’s Pizza opened in Tolono, Illinois in 1959 and since then has grown from a local tradition to 64 restaurants in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and soon to be O’Fallon, Missouri. The company is best known for its thin crust pizza, “Family PleaserTM” meal bundle, community support efforts and national “Employer of Choice” awards. The “Family Pleaser®”, a shareable pizza, salad and beverage, is one of the company’s best-selling products. The O’Fallon Monical’s will be located in the Thoele Center on Highway K and will feature full dining room service in addition to carry-out and delivery. General Manager, Rex Hoover, has 21 years of experience with the company, including 16 years in management in the Peoria, Illinois market.

In addition to their signature pizzas, Monical’s menu contains a selection of appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, beer and wine. Janelle Reents, Monical’s Pizza President, says “We’ve been investigating the St. Louis market for over two years and believe we’ve found the perfect site for our first area location. We are very excited at the opportunity we have to serve and become a part of this vibrant and growing community.”

In addition to restaurant operations, Monical’s Pizza also supports many community interests including schools, athletic teams and non-profit organizations of all kinds. The Illinois State Police awarded the company special recognition as an early supporter state-wide of the D.A.R.E. drug resistance education program. Monical’s has been a two-time national finalist for the National Restaurant Association’s “Good Neighbor” award as well as receiving numerous “Best Pizza” awards in communities where they currently operate. The company has been recognized by the United States Marine Corps as a long-time supporter of Toys for Tots.
