Nesslage to hoot for the Owls!

Tori Nesslage to play basketball for William Wood University.

FZN Senior Tori Nesslage recently committed to play basketball for William Woods University located in Fulton, Missouri. A three-sport stand out at North High, Nesslage served as a key member of the FZN girls basketball team. A four-year starter, Nesslage averaged 11.9 points per game her senior year while earning 2nd team "All-Conference" honors. The Panthers finished the 2016 - 2017 campaign with a 18 - 9 record. It was the best record for an FZN girls basketball team in over three decades. An honor-student, Nesslage carried a 3.86 GPA. She was named a member of the GAC "All-Academic" Team for four consecutive years. In addition to her prowess on the basketball court, Nesslage has qualified for the state championships in both cross country and track. In total, she earned 12 varsity letters at FZN.

William Woods competes in the American Midwest Conference and is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Last season, the Owls advanced to the Elite 8 in the NAIA National Tournament.
