O’Fallon’s 2013 Christmas and 2014 New Year’s schedules

Over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the City of O’Fallon, Missouri, will observe the following schedule:

  • Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve)

-       O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) will be closed  

-       The Renaud Spirit Center (RSC) will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; the indoor recreation complex is located at 2650 Tri Sports Circle (63368)

-       The Celebration of Lights in Fort Zumwalt Park will be open to vehicles from 6 – 9 p.m.; $7 per car (Tuesday Night Special), $15 per commercial van, and $1 per person on tour buses ($25 minimum).

-       There will be no Christmas Eve changes in trash or recycling collection for O’Fallon City trash customers.

  • Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas)

-       O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) will be closed.

-       The Renaud Spirit Center (RSC) will be closed.

-       The Celebration of Lights will be closed.

-       O’Fallon City trash collection will move to the next day on Christmas Day and through the remainder of the week.

  • Monday, December 30

-       The Celebration of Lights will be open 6-9 p.m., and then close for the season. To accommodate the final night, vehicles will be allowed. City Train and Segway rides with reservations for the evening also will be operating.

  • Tuesday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve)

-       O’Fallon City Hall will be open

-       The Renaud Spirit Center will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

-       There will be no New Year’s Eve changes in trash or recycling collection for City trash customers.

  • Wednesday, January 1 (New Year’s Day), 2013

-       The Renaud Spirit Center will be open noon-5 p.m.

-       O’Fallon City Hall will be closed

-       O’Fallon trash collection for New Year’s Day will move to the next day through the remainder of the week.
