Panthers squeak out a victory at Zumwalt East!
The varsity football team improved to 5 - 0 on the season with a 28 - 27 victory over Fort Zumwalt East.

The varsity football team remained unbeaten after a nail-biting 28 - 27 victory over the defending conference champion, Fort Zumwalt East. In a game that saw several lead changes and momentum swings, it was the Panthers who ultimately prevailed after stopping a late two point conversion attempt by the Lions.
The Panther offense was able to move the ball effectively on the Lions throughout the contest. The offense was paced by the outstanding line play by Marcus Lowery, Chase Smith, Chase Anderson, Austin Warner, and Mason Seeger. The line cleared the running lanes for touchdown runs by Deon Lewis (2) and Brenden Pierce. Also standing out for the Panther offense was Sam Bartlett, who snagged a game high nine catches one of which provided the game winning touchdown.
Defensively the leading tacklers were Justin Fitzpatrick, Tay Robinson, and the Brister brothers (Dacey and Cade). Alex Camargo also pitched in an interception for the Panthers.
