Pudlowski to narrow focus at SIUC

4 sport star Rachel Pudlowski will play basketball at SIUC.

FZN Senior Rachel Pudlowski recently signed a "Letter of Intent" to continue her basketball career at Southern Illinois University located in Carbondale, Illinois. One of the most decorated athletes to participate in the FZN athletic program, Pudlowski will concentrate on basketball at SIUC. She has been a mainstay in the Panther basketball line-up since her freshmen year. A three-time "All-Conference" selection, Pudlowski has played a major role in the turn-around of the Lady Panther basketball program. Last season, the Panthers completed their finest season in two decades as the team notched 18 wins. SIUC is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference and affiliated with the NCAA Division 1.

In addition to her prowess on the court, Pudlowski, is also a member of the Panther softball, soccer, and track teams. She is a three-time conference champion in the long-jump, a two-time "All-Conference" selection in soccer, and earned 2nd team "All-Conference" honors this past fall in softball when she hit .456 in just her second season on the team. Totaled, Pudlowski is expected to earn 14 varsity letters before graduation! A scholar in the classroom, Pudlwoski carries a 4.4 GPA, while carrying a full load of AP courses.
