Shylanski to continue soccer career!
FZN Senior Hannah Shylanski to play soccer for Westminster.

FZN Senior Hannah Shylanski recently committed to play soccer for Westminster University, located in Fulton, Missouri. Shylanski is a three-sport athlete at FZN, competing in volleyball, swimming and soccer. Of the three, soccer is her favorite sport and the sport she will pursue at the next level. Playing in the forward position, Shylanski helped lead the Panthers to a 12 – 6 mark last spring. A season where she recorded 24 points, scoring 10 goals, while adding 4 assists. She is expected to play a key role for the team this spring. In addition to her time playing soccer at FZN, Shylanski has acquired vast experience in the sport playing club soccer, most recently playing for the Missouri Rush Soccer club. Shylanski was also a top performer for the Panther volleyball squad last fall, and is expected to compete in the State Swimming Championships this weekend as a member of the 400 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle relays teams. An excellent student, who sports an impressive 4.12 GPA, Shylanski is an “All-Academic” performer in all three of her sports.
Westminster, whose moniker is the Blue Jays, is a NCAA Division 3-member school that competes athletically in the President’s Athletic Conference. Shylanski plans on majoring in pre-med with hopes of becoming a medical doctor. The Blue Jays women’s soccer program finished the 2021 season with a 16 – 3 – 1 overall record, while capturing the conference title.
