
Registration is open for OβFallonβs three-week Summer Theatre Camp. The camp is designed to immerse pre-teens and teenagers in the world of theater and give them confidence in their own abilities.
Both the camp and workshop run Monday-Friday, July 9-27, ending with a matinee production for families and friends on Saturday, July 28.
- Theatre camp, for ages 9-12, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
- Theatre workshop, for ages 13-17, will be held from 1 β 5 p.m.

βThis will be a little like summer stock theater, but the kids will do everything themselves, from writing the script to holding rehearsals,β Darren Granaas, OβFallonβs Cultural Arts Coordinator, said in a news release. βEach participant will create an original character and then collaborate on developing an original storyline into a play. Along the way, the kids will learn the basics of script writing, character development on paper and on the stage, physical characterization and acting, costuming, set design, and stagecraft. Itβs going to be an awesome session that theyβll always remember.β
Cost of the three-week camp is $225 for OβFallon residents and $249 for non-residents. Parents and guardians must register children for OβFallonβs camps in person, at either:
