Tompson to pitch for the Highlanders!

FZN senior Jessica Tomson recently signed a letter of intent to play softball at MacMurry College. MacMurry is a NCAA Division 3 member school located in Jacksonville, IL. The "Highlanders" compete in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Tomson was a three year varsity team member for the Panthers. She served as the team's primary pitcher the last two seasons. Tomson spent her summers playing with the IL Impact Gold softball club and is expected to play for the Lake St. Louis "Tribe" club this spring and summer. She is the second member of the Tomson family to play college softball, following in the footsteps of her sister Allison, who played at both Howard (TX) and Westminster.
