A Trio of Panthers head North!
Deon Lewis, Sam Bartlett, and Chase Anderson to play football at Simpson College.

FZN seniors: Deon Lewis, Sam Bartlett, and Chase Anderson, all recently committed to play football at Simpson College located in Indianola, Iowa. All three were key members of the most recent Panther football team that finished the season with a 10 - 2 record, on their way to winning both the conference and district titles.
Lewis played running back for the Panthers and completed an impressive season in which he rushed for 1773 yards while scoring 19 TD’s. For his efforts, Lewis earned “All-Conference” honors and was selected as a member of the Class 4 “All-State” 2nd team. Lewis earned four varsity letters football letters. Lewis is also a member of the varsity track team at North High.
Bartlett was the leading receiver for the Panthers, amassing 375 receiving yards and 4 TD’s during the 2014 campaign. Bartlett saw playing time in each of his four seasons with the Panthers. A versatile athlete, Bartlett played on both sides of the ball in addition to time on the special teams. He earned 2nd team “All-Conference” status at receiver. Bartlett also participated in Basketball and Track at FZN.

Anderson was one of the key cogs in an impressive offensive line that opened big running lanes for the Panther backs throughout the 2014 season. The Panther offense, sporting a triple-option attack, amassed 4251 rushing yards while scoring 399 points during the season. Anderson was a 1st team “All-Conference” selection.
