Triplett to become a Spartan!

FZN Senior Jacob Triplett to play football at Missouri Baptist.

FZN Senior Jacob Triplett recently committed to play football at Missouri Baptist University located in St. Louis County. Triplett was a key member of the Panther football team that advanced to the state semi-final game last fall. He was named as 1st team GAC Central "All-Conference" defensive back. Triplett amassed an impressive 48 solo tackles while also recording 2 interceptions and 1 fumble during the 2017 campaign. A two-way player, Triplett also stood out on the offensive side of the ball. He was placed on the "All-Conference" 2nd team as a running back. Triplett rushed for 477 yards and 9 touchdowns on 56 attempts. He nabbed 20 receptions for 321 years an 4 touchdowns.

Missouri Baptist University is NAIA program that competes as a member of the American Midwest Conference. Last season the Spartans finished the season with a 3 - 8 mark. Triplett will join 2015 FZN graduate Marcus Lowery on the Spartan squad.
