Varsity Football wins again!

The Panthers moved to 6 - 0 on the season with a 42 - 21 victory over Fort Zumwalt South.

With well over 200 alumni and former coach, Bob Fisher, looking on the Panthers defeated the previously unbeaten Bulldogs from Fort Zumwalt South by a score of 42 - 21 at last Saturday’s “Homecoming” game. The Panthers are now 6 - 0 on the season. The 6 - 0 start is the first in school history. With the win, the Panthers locked up at least a share of the GAC Central title, and have the opportunity to win the title outright this Friday.

The Panther offense was led by the rushing of Deon Leiws (171 yards and 3 touchdowns) and Cade Brister (179 yards and 2 touchdowns), along with the receiving of Sam Bartlett (2 catches for 82 yards) and Tre’ Johnson who added a 58 yard touchdown catch.

On defense, three Panthers Sam Bartlett, Deon Lewis, and Dre’ Hathaway all intercepted Bulldog passes. Leading tacklers were Tay Robinson, Blake Wilson, and the Brister brothers (Dacey and Cade).
