Varsity Soccer off to 5 - 0 start!
The FZN Varsity Soccer team improves to 5 - 0 on the season with wins over Washington and Holt.

The Varsity Soccer team recently opened conference play with victories over Washington (1 - 0) and Holt (2 - 1). The team is now 5 - 0 on the season, and is currently listed as “on the bubble” in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch weekly rankings. Gun Runge (12) scored the Panthers only goal against Washington, while Lukas Phelps (12) and Chandler Hoff (11) scored goals against Holt.
The Panther defense has been a source of strength for the team all season. The defense had been led by Brendan Orf (12) and Zach Bateman (12). Grant Runge (11) has been impressive in goal, as the keeper has five wins on the young season with three shutouts.
The Panthers return to action today (9/11) as they play host to conference rival Fort Zumwalt East. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm.
