Varsity Soccer captures Tournament Title!
The Panther Soccer team sweeps all three opponents to capture the team title at the FZN Invitational.

The Varsity Boys soccer team is off to a hot start this season. Last week the team earned top honors at the FZN Invitational. The team defeated Warrenton (6 - 0) and Farmington (3 - 2) to advance to the championship game. In the the championship game the Panthers defeated the defending tournament champions from Troy 2 - 0. This is the first time in the six year history of the tournament that FZN has won first.
Stand out offensive performers during the tournament include, Chandler Hoff with 4 goals and 1 assist, Gus Runge with 1 goal and 3 assists, and Nick Filla with 3 assists.
Defensively the Panthers only gave up two goals during the three game tournament, with goalkeeper Grant Runge posting two shutouts!

The team returns to play this Thursday (9/4) as they travel to Washington for the first conference game of the season. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:45 pm.
