Weddington to the “Land of Lincoln.”

FZN Senior Miles Weddington recently committed to Illinois College, located in Jacksonville, Illinois, to play football for the Blue Boys. Weddington was an offensive standout for the Panthers last fall, garnering 354 rushing and receiving yards while scoring 5 touchdowns. Last fall, the Panthers captured their 8th straight conference, finishing the season with a 7 – 4 overall record. In addition to his football prowess, Weddington is also a key member of the FZN track team, participating in sprint events. He has left the door open to competing in track at Illinois College.

Illinois College is a NCAA Division 3 institution, that participates in athletics as a member of the Midwest Conference. Last season, the Blue Boys finished the season with a 5 – 5 mark. Weddington chose Illinois College become of the Blue Boy coaching staff and school atmosphere. He plans on majoring in sports management.
