FZN Senior Edan Wensel was recently selected as a member of the University of Missouri’s famed “Golden Girls”. Wensel was a four year member of the varsity dance team at FZN. She is also a member of the competitive dance team at the Rokita Dance Center. An honor student at FZN, Wensel was named to the GAC “All-Academic” dance team four times.
Over 100 dancers typically try-out for the team’s 30 available spots. The “Golden Girls” perform at MU’ s football and basketball games. In addition, the squad competes annually at the N.D.A. National Championships. This past season, MU finished 2nd in the Dance Open Division at the N.D.A. Championships.
