Zach Glotta signs with Austin Peay University

FZN Senior, Zach Glotta, recently signed a “Letter of Intent” to play basketball at Austin Peay (TN) University. Glotta, who averaged 15.1 points and 4.5 assists per game last season, becomes the second member of the Glotta family to sign with a Division One program. Zach follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Chaz, who currently plays for SIU-Carbondale. Zach and Chaz were both coached by their father, Charles.

Zach is a three-time “All-Conference” selection. Last season, he played a major role for the Panthers as the team won their second consecutive conference championship. The team also won a District title in 2013.

ASP coach Dave Loos said, “He has such a great feel on how to play the game. He is a tough, tough kid who is very skilled and we think he has really good leadership qualities.”
