• Wilma Jean Hampton (douglascountyherald.com) — Ozark is mourning the passing of 87-year-old Wilma Jean Hampton, who died May 27 at Ozark Riverview Manor and had recently attended Ozark Full Gospel Church. A Douglas County native, she worked in local nursing homes and at KFC in Ozark, loved Silver Dollar City and Oldfield Opry, and will be laid to rest later in Stillings Cemetery.
