Tony Luetkemeyer helped end a filibuster that was stalling key bills. Lawmakers also advanced a tougher drunk-driving measure that would require ignition-locking devices for some defendants, while an office microwave mishap briefly triggered a fire alarm at the Capitol.
   

• Jack Wagner Powers to Electric City Victory (speedwaydigest.com) — Parkville sprint car driver Justin Johnson cracked the top ten at Electric City Speedway in Butler, Missouri, finishing ninth in a tightly contested 25-lap feature. Lone Jack’s Jack Wagner took the inaugural Butler Brawl win, and the series now heads to Valley Speedway in Grain Valley on May 23, giving local racing fans another nearby event to follow.
