3. MSHP 126th Recruit Class starts Patrol Academy (suntimesnews.com) — Two Poplar Bluff natives, Ryan C. Brown and Tyler R. Davis, have begun training with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 126th Recruit Class in Jefferson City. They’re among 39 recruits who started the academy on April 20 and are set to graduate in October 2026, potentially returning to serve communities across Missouri, including Poplar Bluff.
