• Wraparound resource hub planned at church bordering KCMO, Raytown, Independence (kshb.com) — A long-unused hall at Ridge United Methodist Church, located right where Raytown meets Kansas City and Independence, is being transformed into a wraparound resource hub for local families. Leaders plan medical, food, mentorship, and child care services aimed at supporting youth and filling resource gaps for Raytown-area communities, though renovations to Hobbs Hall are still needed before opening.
