• Savannah man sentenced to prison after killing pedestrian in 2024 (kjo1055.com) — A Savannah resident has been sentenced to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a 2024 crash that killed a pedestrian on St. Joseph Avenue. Prosecutors said he drove off the road, hit the victim and a house, then left the scene on foot before later entering his plea.
