• Woman rescued from second-floor window during two-alarm Cape Girardeau house fire - KBSI FOX23 News Cape Girardeau News (kbsi23.com) — Scott City firefighters helped Cape Girardeau crews rescue a woman from a second-floor window during a two-alarm house fire Wednesday on South Sprigg Street. The blaze sent up a large smoke column, required mutual aid from several departments, and was brought under control in about 30 minutes with no additional victims found.
