• Silex faces water service cutoff amid unpaid $20K bill, emergency meeting called (ksdk.com) — Silex residents are at risk of losing water service if the city doesn’t pay a $20,000 bill to the Pike County Water District by the end of April. Mayor Lynne Luckett says leaks after switching to the new system drove up usage, and an emergency Board of Aldermen meeting is set Monday night to approve payment and avoid a shutoff.
