• City Utilities advises customers to boil water, as boil water advisory is likely (ky3.com) — City Utilities is urging customers in southeast Springfield to boil tap water for three to five minutes after a major water main break near the Highway 60/65 interchange caused low pressure and likely contamination risk. Crews are repairing the line and determining how many customers are affected, and C.U. will send phone or text alerts to impacted Springfield accounts.

• Three Citizens Appointed To Various Boards And Commissions (krmsradio.com) — A Springfield resident, Michael Gott, has been appointed by Governor Mike Kehoe to Missouri's Air Conservation Commission, bringing local labor and trades experience to the statewide board. Two other Missourians from Rolla and Bolivar were also named to key technology and nursing boards, shaping policy that could indirectly affect Springfield's environment and healthcare landscape.
